Our client was on the way to her college class when she was struck by a motor vehicle.  She had checked for traffic, but was not in a crosswalk while crossing the street.  We argued that the Defendant was inattentive and should have expected that people might be crossing the street even in an area that was not permitted.  Compounding matters our client was wearing headphones and listening to music.  Despite the challenges we believed in the case and obtained a $750,000 recovery.
