Our client was doing repairs at the Defendant’s house and fell from a ladder injuring his wrists. There were no witnesses except our client and the Defendant home owner. Our client testified that the Defendant held the ladder and let go causing him to lose his balance and fall. The Defendant homeowner said he was nowhere near the ladder and it was our client’s own clumsiness that caused the fall.  Despite it being word vs. word, we recovered $325,000 for our client.
