Our client was riding a Metrolink train, and a semi-truck had not cleared the tracks, which caused a crash.  We went after the truck for blocking the path of travel and the Metrolink driver for not recognizing the danger in time to stop.  Defendants argued our client’s injuries were mostly degenerative in nature and he was not thrown very far in the impact.  Despite this we were able to achieve a million dollar settlement.
